The striking Blossom Linear Wall Light marks a new step in the evolution of bone china lighting, as this refined design is the result of an ambitious project, undertaken by our design team in partnership with our most experienced craftspeople. Blossom Linear features an elongated shade, casting a warm, soft glow while simultaneously providing gentle illumination on the wall or next to a mirror.
From a distance, the light appears monolithic and linear, but up close, the exquisite details come to shine. The petal-shaped top stretches into gently curved elements, separated by slim lines where the ceramic is slightly thicker. Brass screws at the top and bottom affix the shade to the backplate, which holds the LED light source. The IP44-rated Linear Blossom is a perfect choice next to a wall mirror or above the bathtub, adding warm accent lighting to any space. The fixture requires a remote driver, which is included.
Manufacturing
This sophisticated design is a master class in artisanry, made possible only thanks to the expertise of our makers. To achieve the perfect, symmetric lines of the shade, our team tried and tested many moulds and perfected the firing process. The slip is poured into the mould, left to dry until solid, with any excess returned to the slip barrel for reuse.
The greenware then air dries, is sponged and fettled to smooth out any irregularities, before being biscuit fired, glazed, and fired again. The final assembly takes place in our factory in Witney, Oxfordshire.
