We’re delighted to launch the latest series of Original BTC pendant lights. The Antique Brass Pendants collection presents a reinvention of six of our most beloved shapes. Each shade features a new matt finish of our handmade bone china, contrasted by antique brass metal fixtures, to enrich any room with mesmerising charm.

For the Antique Brass series, we’ve rethought our classic shades Hector Flowerpot, Hector Medium Dome, the soft Hector Pleat, the curvaceous Bibendum, and the quilted Oxford pendants – some of them in production for over 30 years.

Design Details

For the first time, these handmade bone china shades have now a velvety matt finish, enhancing the fine material’s inherent warmth and opacity. Ideal as elegant lighting fixtures above a kitchen counter or in a hallway, these pieces can elevate any room in the house.

It’s all about the details: the brass elements of each light are hand-brushed to give them their dark, soft appearance for a subtle industrial quality. A look that’s complemented by the twisted braided cable – a first in the Original BTC collection.

Skilled Artisans

Like all our bone china lights, the shades of the Antique Brass range are handmade by skilled artisans at our pottery site in Stoke-on-Trent. From pouring to glazing and firing, it takes four days to make just a single shade. The brass elements are brushed and treated in our manufacturing facility in Oxfordshire, where all our lights are assembled and quality-checked before being shipped to homes and commercial projects all around the world.
