Illuminating Hydra
At Original BTC, we’re inspired by those who embrace design in its many forms, blending artistry and function with effortless style. Photographer Nada Lottermann is one such visionary, transforming her artist house on the Greek island of Hydra into a sanctuary of creativity and character.
The robust charm of our Bulkhead Lights takes center stage in the communal areas of Nada’s home, their industrial edge providing a bold contrast to the traditional Grecian architecture. Their warm, functional glow enhances the character of the space, highlighting its blend of rustic elegance and modern flair.

In the bedroom, Nada opted for our classic Hector Wall Lights – a design known for its understated beauty and versatility. With their gently curved Bone China shades and adjustable features, the Hector Wall Lights create a serene ambiance, perfectly suited to the restful retreat of the bedroom. Together, these lighting choices reflect Nada’s talent for balancing functionality with aesthetic impact.

Outside, an Exterior Bracket Light marks the entrance, casting a warm, inviting glow over the stairway. This thoughtful addition ties the home together, offering both practical illumination and a design that complements Hydra’s historic aesthetic. These lighting choices, carefully curated by Nada, reflect her deep understanding of the interplay between form and function, tradition and innovation.
As one half of the creative duo Lottermann and Fuentes, Nada’s work often explores texture, light, and narrative – themes that resonate throughout her Hydra home. By pairing thoughtful lighting with the island’s natural beauty and her distinctive artistic sensibilities, Nada has crafted a space that feels both timeless and innovative.
