About
Transform ceilings with the stunning Christie Ceiling Light to elevate an entire room. Delicately balancing clean lines and a whimsical aura, the design’s scalloped, glossy bone china shade is inspired the rolling waves of the sea. Held by a fixing disc and finial in rich antique brass, the ceiling light’s two bulbs create atmospheric indirect lighting, as the shade reflects the light back onto the ceiling.
The rich white shade itself becomes translucent when switched on, acquiring a warm presence adding personality to any room. Measuring an impressive 47 centimetres in diameter, Christie has a quiet yet notable presence, making it a great choice for entryways, corridors, and bedrooms. Christie is also available as a pendant (in two sizes) and a wall light.
Manufacturing
We take pride in crafting our lights in England. Christie’s bone shade is made from fine bone china, produced by our pottery experts in Stoke-on-Trent using traditional methods. Over several days, they slip-cast, fire, and perfect the shade. The final product is assembled in our factory in Witney, Oxfordshire, where the shade is wired and attached to the hand-brushed antique brass elements.
