About
The Crosby Table Light is a wonderful study of refined simplicity and sophistication. Created with meticulous attention to detail by our craftspeople, this design elevates any interior with its fine materials and arresting finishes. Its appealing form is defined by two cylindrical shapes: the sleek, mouth blown glass base and the textured linen shade.
The smooth anthracite glass creates a stunning contrast against the tactile allure of the fabric shade. Every detail of Crosby feels considered: The base is sandcast from solid brass, which is then sandblasted to give it a rich textured finish. It extends from a gentle dome within the glass, which is ground down to match the form to create a neat opening for the cable. The result is a crisp and clean appearance, enriched by warm and interesting textures. Completing the look is its sand cotton braided cable. Crosby also features a ball joint in satin brass, allowing you to effortlessly tilt the shade for optimal reading illumination. And with three sizes available, you can choose the perfect fit for any space.
Manufacturing
Our glass is hand blown by highly skilled craftsmen in our glass works in Witney, one of the few remaining in the UK. This is a time-intensive process, which ensures a product of premium colour, clarity and brilliance. Unlike homogenous mould-made glass, each piece is unique, with slight variations, demonstrating the care and attention with which it has been crafted.
