Pebble Ceiling Light

Introducing the Pebble, a beautifully organic statement ceiling light hand crafted in Stoke-on-Trent from the finest bone china. Combining centuries-old manufacturing techniques with the latest in technology, 36 pebble-inspired ceramic forms in three different designs are secured to a central steel frame on stems of varying lengths, to create a layered cocoon shape.

The Pebble combines new and old production techniques. First, the forms are designed and 3D resin printed at Original BTC’s design facility in Witney. The printed patterns are used to create direct casting moulds used in our bone china pottery, where our experts pour the slip (liquid clay) into them. Once set, the moulds are split and the pebble forms are removed and left overnight to dry before being sponged to remove any imperfections.
