Its remarkable ability to diffuse light, paired with its timeless character, has made it one of our most recognisable materials. But bringing those same qualities into the bathroom presented an entirely new challenge.

Blossom Linear represents a significant step in the evolution of our bone china lighting. Developed by our design team alongside our most experienced craftspeople, it is our first IP44-rated bone china wall light, carefully engineered to combine the soft, atmospheric glow of bone china with the technical performance required for bathroom environments.

Innovation in Bone China

Blossom Linear’s elongated silhouette draws on the proportions of our Pillar collection, a form perfectly suited to bathrooms.

Whether positioned beside a mirror or used as a standalone wall light, its slim profile provides balanced illumination while creating a calm architectural presence.

Hidden within is the same high-quality integrated LED module used in our Pillar collection, chosen for its warm, even light and excellent colour rendering.

Paired with the natural translucency of bone china, it creates a soft glow that gently illuminates both the shade and the surrounding wall.

Its IP44 rating is achieved through a fully sealed construction, protecting the internal components from moisture while maintaining the refined appearance and warmth that define the collection.

Crafted in Stoke-on-Trent

Every Blossom Linear shade is handcrafted in Stoke-on-Trent using the same traditional bone china techniques that have defined Original BTC for decades.

Each shade begins as liquid bone china clay, which is carefully slip cast before being left to dry naturally.

Once removed from its mould, every piece is hand-finished by skilled craftspeople, who refine the delicate petal details before firing it at temperatures of over 1,200°C.

This process transforms the clay into the beautifully strong yet translucent material that gives Blossom Linear its distinctive glow.

The result is a light that celebrates both innovation and craftsmanship. By day, its crisp white finish brings a quiet elegance to the bathroom; by night, the bone china softly diffuses the light, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that only this remarkable material can achieve.
