The Art of Artichoke
Farmhouse charm in Ireland
In a Georgian farmhouse in Northern Ireland, Artichoke has created a kitchen where traditional architecture and modern life coexist with ease.
The studio is known for bespoke interiors that combine historical integrity with master craftsmanship, and this project is a clear expression of that philosophy. Bespoke joinery anchors the room, its proportions and finishes echoing the building’s heritage while meeting the demands of a contemporary home.

Our Coach Wall Light provides a unifying presence across the house. In the hallway it brings a soft, welcoming glow, setting the tone for the spaces beyond. Within the kitchen it helps ease the transition from living areas, blending decorative charm with practical illumination.

The Hector 30 Wall Light brings both precision and atmosphere to the kitchen. Its bone-china shade casts a clear, directed light over the counters, supporting the practical rhythm of cooking and preparation.
Beyond its function, the gentle translucence of the material diffuses a warm glow across the room, softening the tailored joinery and adding to the kitchen’s inviting character.
Artichoke’s design demonstrates how carefully chosen lighting can enrich a crafted interior, and we are pleased our pieces play a part in this project.
